Cause of high temperature of water pump bearing!

The main reasons for the excessive temperature rise of the bearing are: (at this point, it is not difficult to find out the cause in time and observe the cause.


(1) the bending or concentricity of the pump shaft will cause the pump to vibrate and cause the bearing to heat or wear.


(2) due to the increase of axial thrust (such as the serious loss of balance plate and balance ring in the pump), the axial load of the bearing is increased and the bearing is heated and even damaged.


(3) the lubricating oil (fat) in the bearing is not enough or too much, and the quality is bad. There are sediment and iron debris in the bearing; the sliding bearing sometimes causes the bearing to heat because the oil ring does not rotate and does not take oil.


(4) the bearing clearance is not in conformity with the requirements. Such as bearing inner ring and pump shaft, bearing outer ring and bearing body, too loose or too tight, can cause bearing heating. (too tight will cause the bearing to be rotated inflexibly. If it is too loose, it will cause the inner ring of the bearing to rotate or the whole bearing to rotate in the bearing body).


(5) the static balance of the rotor of the pump is not good. The radial force of the pump rotor increases, and the bearing load increases, resulting in the bearing heating.


(6) when the pump is running at non design point, it will also cause the pump bearing to generate heat.


(7) the bearing has been damaged (including the quality of the bearings purchased), which is often the common cause of the bearing fever, such as the damage of the bearing cage, the crushed inner ring or the outer ring of the ball, and the stripping of the alloy layer of the sliding bearing and the falling block, etc. In this case, the bearing is abnormal in noise and noisy. It is necessary to disassemble and check the bearing in time.
